Episode 2 - Now Available for download!

Hey all, please check out Episode 2 of Polymatheism.

Now available for download from our website polymatheism.com and soon to be available for download in the iTunes store. I found out that the feed that I submitted to iTunes was a little fucked up, because I was using this thing called buzzsprout, and now i'm hosting everything through my webhost on my domain. So, I had to resubmit a new RSS feed to iTunes, and hopefully they'll fix that soon.

So, this week's Episode is going to be a lot different from our first episode, we actually do this in a live format. We just talk straight from the topics that we had planned, no script or anything. No editing or cutting either, except to place the intro to the front of it.

So we hope you enjoy the new name and the new format if you somehow listened to and liked our first show.
From now on, you can expect it to pretty much go like it did this week. We might extend the time a little if people don't mind 90 minutes or more. So far, 80 - 90 minutes has worked well for our format.

We give Adam Carolla this week's Polymatheist of the Week and Cool Shit Award of the Week.

We discuss my assault at NRC in Tacoma.

Talk a little about some great books:

The Hidden Reality -- Brian Greene
The Grand Design -- Stephen Hawking
What Do You Care, What Other People Think? -- Richard Feynman
Genius: The Life and Science of Richard Feynman -- James Gleik

Introduce a new recurring segment called "Mysteries behind the 'Quantum Veil'"
in which, we talk about Quantum Entanglement.

And we close the show talking about current government regulations dictating label information on nutrients and other plant products.

Thank you for visiting, and please remember to follow the blog, follow us on Twitter @polymatheism, and Like us on Facebook.

Website Update / Podcast availability

Okay, so now the website is pretty much fully functional, with the exception of the forum that I plan on making, but is just tentative. There isn't much content yet, but it'll get there.

Also, I made it so that you can click on the Podcast / RSS link on the website, and it will open up iTunes and subscribe you to the podcast. I'm not sure why the logo doesn't show up yet, but I'll get it there.

Also, it's official, we have a Facebook page up and running, and I'd like anybody who's listened to the podcast to please log in to Facebook and find The Renaissance Experience Podcast. Please Like us.

Thanks,

Also, please follow us on Twitter @polymatheism

The Website is Live!

So here we go folks, the website is now officially live and running. However, there's really not much content to speak of so far It's got a couple of basic html pages about the podcast, and some information about how to subscribe manually in iTunes.

The podcast has been submitted to the iTunes store, and is currently just pending approval. You can subscribe to it manually however, by opening iTunes. Clicking on the Advanced menu, and selecting Subscribe to Podcast. Then in the field url, type "http://polymatheism.com/public/RSS/podcast.rss" without the quotes. This will download our first episode, and get you subscribed.
